ABOUT
Vernissage Web Studio is my way of expressing 
the love to art and technology. Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Russia, I have always had passion for art in all forms. My life was surrounded by art: from finest museums and galleries to beautiful architecture of the city. I loved browsing the Hermitage rooms for hours fascinated by the vast history of art presented. When I moved to the United States, this was the part of my life that I missed the most. I searched trying to find my "niche" in life that was related to art and technology. I found my passion in web design after taking my first web design class at the local community college in 2000. I pursued taking classes in web technologies and graduated with a certificate in web development.
It was always fascinating to me how technologies, computer technologies in particular, affect people's lives. My interest and desire to bring the technology and people together was the reason I continued with undergraduate studies in Technology Management a few years later, and as a result Vernissage Web Studio was born. In my work, I try to bring visual and technical aspects together to achieve an effective design. I love creating new web layouts and love coding them as much. I am passionate about web standards and accessibility. I believe that all people should have equal access to information. I constantly educate myself in new web technologies and visual design. I have recently completed a certificate in Web Graphics and Multimedia from the International Webmasters Association. I am also trained in Search Engine Marketing and Optimization.
